We are Under Lucky Stars, we make beautiful star maps showing the alignment of the stars in a place and time chosen by you.
Everyone has that special moment in their life that is worth making into a star map.
We asked you to tell us about yours.
Here are some of our favorites stories.

We had met at a friend's wedding, and instantly hit it off. We became friends despite his interest in me, but I wasn't looking for a love story, so we tiptoed around each other for more than 2 years.
Then, almost suddenly, I realized I was looking at him differently. He sensed as much, but let me set the pace of this change in our relationship. On the 5th, I was at my best friend's party, and invited him. We gravitated towards each other for the whole time, and as the party wrapped up we got to his car and stayed there talking for hours under the stars. It was at that time, after inching closer and closer, that I was hit by the weight if the possible change: 2+ years of friendship, both part of the same group of friends, what if it doesn't work out? What if I'm not ready yet? What if I/he/both screw up?
At 5:30am of the 6th of December, I took a leap of faith and kissed him. That changed everything.
Now, after more than 3 years, we live together. We are still going strong and more in love with each other each day! We both remember that night as our beginning, and remember the stars we were looking at out of the windshield. Those certainly were our lucky stars, and I wanted them hung in our bedroom, to look upon us for years to come! Best anniversary gift ever!

It was Christmas day and wanted to do something different and went for a drive to Dunnottar Castle!
It was unbelievably cold so was there for about 20/25 min tops! We were just about to leave as was with my girlfriend and her mum n dad when asked her dad for his daughters hand in marriage and was quite funny as her mum said yes!!! I got down on one knee to propose and you could here all the camera's clicking as all the tourists stopped to see what was happening!
Luckily for me she said yes and we will be celebrating our 10 year married this year with 2 amazing boys added to the family too!

This 4th of July was the night of my wife and I's first date.
We talked so long in the lobby, we actually missed the movie. We shared any and everything that night as the conversation went from nervous to open and vulnerable honesty. We call that conversation our 3 hour disclaimer. We were friends for 6 more months and then started officially dating. Engaged in a couple weeks and married the next April. I brought her back the anniversary of our first date and we were married for a couple months by then...we celebrate 4 years this 4-4-19

On October 21st, 1979, I met my wife for the first time.
A classmate of mine from Dental School told me about this girl who taught at the same grade school with his wife. We were supposed to go on a double date, but he and his wife had to leave town suddenly. So he called me and let me know she was expecting a call from me.
Thus began the " first date from hell." Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Long story short, we finally found a movie to see that wasn't sold out, at a multiplex at a mall. We had over an hour to kill, however. My blind date had spent the afternoon at the same mall shopping for a birthday gift for her aunt. So she suggested we take a walk AROUND the outside of the mall. Since it was a beautiful Fall night, I said, "why not." That walk under the stars turned out to be magical. When I saw your post, I thought, "What a romantic Valentine's Day gift, a chart of the stars overhead during that first walk".

Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park is where me and my husband visited on our first vacation together while dating so we decided to get married here on July 9, 2015. The line at the top of our Star Map, “You’re the sky that I fell through,” was the first line in our first dance song. I actually didn’t know that until I was making the map and listened to the song to get a meaningful line from the song...

I got this map for my older sister, she’s always had a fascination with the stars and what they mean.
I got her a map to the stars on January 17th 2019 at 11:27 a.m, the moment she gave birth to her first child Ezra. I couldn’t be there when she opened the package but I had her boyfriend record it for me and seeing the smile on her face was so beautiful. The poster now hangs above Ezra’s crib to always remind them of the moment their lives changed for the best.

On June 30th 2001 at 2:00 pm, my husband and I exchanged our own vowels and said, "I do". That's the day two beating hearts became one. The day my daughter had a Daddy in her life forever. So I guess you can say three beating hearts becoming one. June 30, 2001 was the beginning of a family, a real family.

It was my first date with my partner. We went kayaking, I was sat the front, and he was sat behind me. We had stopped for a few minutes, he called my name, I turned around and said “is this our first date?” I cracked a smile and said “yeah I guess”.
We have now been together for a year and happily live together.

I got my star chart for my girlfriend and it was for our first date.
It was a fairly cloudy night, but she is a very spiritual person and very into the stars, moon phases, etc, so I thought this would be a great Christmas gift. She was completely surprised and absolutely loved it! She also commented that she really wanted one and had said she was going to eventually get one. The star map is a great reminder of the day my life changed because June 20, 2018 was the best day of my life. I knew that after about 10 minutes of our first date, I was going to marry this girl one day. We do plan on getting married one day soon and this star map will always be a unique reminder of that very first date when it all began. It was an absolutely amazing Christmas gift for an even more amazing woman and the whole process with Under Lucky Stars was great along the way. I can’t wait for the future and having a couple more maps for our engagement day and wedding day.
I will certainly be back to Under Lucky Stars to commemorate those special days as well!

In 2014, I tragically lost my hubby and the father of my kids, in a car accident. The kids were 1 years old and 2 months old. I spent the next almost 4 years trying to piece my puzzle back together. On October 19, 2017 I met a man who would change my world and the world of my children! He will forever be my gift sent from above. I chose the under lucky stars as a gift to make him see how incredibly unique and special he is.
