On the night of March 2nd, 2017 at 6:00pm, the love of my life picked me up for our first date.
I met him on Tinder (sorry not sorry) and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. That's where our love story began. It was a Sunday, we went out for dinner at one of the only sit-down restaurants that were actually open in my small little town. The place was kind of trashy and the dinner was kind of crap, but we had amazing conversations and sat there for over 4 hours. We were going to go to a movie at 7:00pm but ended up staying to talk until the restaurant closed.
After that, we decided to go downtown and sit in his car on the riverfront boardwalk and talk for hours upon hours more, until we realized it was 2:00am the next day and we both had to be to work early. He dropped me off at home and we both decided we wanted to see each other again and again.
We went on 2 more dates and he ended up asking me to be his girlfriend. It's been two years now, we're engaged, and I created my star map for him for our anniversary. Basically, this night was the greatest night of my life and will continue to be forever.
Thank you for letting me create such a beautiful piece.

I have had a "rough" relationship past to say the least.
Some friends of mine at work noticed I had been pretty down so they signed me up for an account on Match.com and put me out there online.
I started talking to this really nice guy names Dean. We had so much in common it was almost scary. We were both previously volunteer firefighters and were from the Midwest. We both live in Tennessee now and we stick out a bit amongst southerners. When we started talking I was actually on vacation in Florida with my sister, brother-in-law, and our combined 6 kids. To my surprise, we started talking like we had known each other for years. We laughed and giggled like high school kids. I found a side to me that I thought was gone for good. I was amazed at how easy he was to talk to and how accepting he was of all my imperfections. He was anxious for me to get home so I could meet him in person. He helped me stay awake really late on my drive home even though he had to work the next day.
That day March 23rd is the day we finally met in person and the rest is history. I was so scared that I picked a nice public park right on the river in Knoxville. I had already worked a full day and so had he and we were both tired but we walked on the walking trail and talked like we had known each other for years. We went to dinner and he was so kind and gentle and calm and easy to talk to, unlike anyone I had ever known in my life. I still swear I had dreamt about his eyes long before we actually met.
He loves my children like they are his own, as I do his. I have multiple sclerosis and this can be very unpredictable and scary for those who aren't educated about it. When I told him he explained to me he has family members with MS and he knows all about it and it didn't intimidate him in the least. We have been best friends ever since.
This Sunday makes 2 years since that amazing day and I wouldn't change a thing. He was the bright star in my gray sky and now we look at the stars together and remember all our good times.

In the middle of November 2018, it was my girlfriend's 21st birthday, so we decided to go to New York.
Neither of us had ever been before so we were really excited! Towards the end of the holiday I told her that I would love to go and visit Belvedere Caslte in Central Park, I had seen pictures of it in the dark and it looked amazing with all the lights on.
When we finally found Belvedere Castle, we discovered that it was undergoing maintenance and was closed to the public and all the lights were turned off, I was gutted. So as we were leaving Central Park I realised we were near the MET Museum and remembered that she enjoyed watching the show "Gossip Girl". I knew that they shot a few of the scenes on the steps of the MET so I said to her that we should walk that way and see if we can get a picture in front of the museum.
As luck would have it a gentleman was walking by and I asked if he would take our picture and he agreed but as I handed my phone over to him I told him that I was going to propose to my girlfriend and ge was more than happy to take our picture.
As we stood in front of the MET I slowly took a step back from my girlfriend and got down on one knee and said her name, as she turned around her face lit up as I asked those 4 words. And I am happy to say that she said yes!!

The story I am about to share is never-ending fun and love.
One of my closest and dearest friends wanted me to meet a good friend of hers from high school and he and I were both hesitant, but after two months of being encouraged, we decided we'd meet for drinks and appetizers.
That's when it all began. We met at the Pour House in Friend, Nebraska and had brie, crackers, and wine, and the first of many conversations began. Then, we drove the windy roads of Nebraska on a hot June night to the quaint town of Geneva to see my love's Victorian family home. The couple that introduced us plus the two of us swung on the porch listening to the crickets, and we had a few more drinks before continuing the evening of fun at a diaper keg party.
They diaper keg party was fun of music and laughter. My new love and I snuck inside to a room full of Alaskan wildlife, cozy leather furniture and a table with a Lite-Brite. We continued learning about one another while playing Lite-Brite and the conversation has never stopped since the night we nicknamed "Woodstock."
That's the story of June 8, 2018.

Hi Under Lucky Stars, well it all started with a faithful match on Tinder.
I was single for more than a year and was from a very bad relationship for 1 year. I was still in pain and I was actually suicidal at that time.
Then I talked to a very close friend about it and she told me why not try, so she made me this Tinder account. On my 3rd day using it, I matched with my man as of today!
We first met on May 22nd 2018 at the same place but it took us just days to fall in love and on June 5th we sealed it and now my life has never been better because of that one fateful night at rotary park where he told me he loves me and asked me to be his woman, not his girl but his woman!

I’m a very sentimental person and for me, it’s the little personal things that mean the most.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our first Valentine’s Day together and I was so wonderfully surprised when I opened my gift to see the constellation map of the night he asked me to be his girlfriend and of the specific place where he asked me.
Titled at the top was “The Moment I Knew” which is when he picked me up from the airport after I took an 11 day trip to Europe (I booked it before we connected). It was such a personal, special and surprising gift to receive for our first Valentine’s Day together. It showed me that not only he knew me and what meant a lot to me, but it’s something that I have never received.
This was such a beautiful gift and really showed me he cared and put a lot of thought into this gift. I love my gift and every time I look at it, I can’t help but feel my heart flutter and remember that special day.

I know it sounds cliche, but my best friend's wedding changed my life. I met someone who was the missing piece to my story, and I met him over the course of a weekend destination wedding.
We're busy getting ready for a day on the beach, and he walks in our condo. He is the twin brother of one of the Maids of Honor, the girl who I had bonded with the most over the course of the wedding planning. We spent time on the beach together, and I was immediately hooked. I wanted to play it cool though, so I hopped in the second car that was heading to the rehearsal dinner... it wasn't until he got to the dinner and told me how he wished I had been riding in his truck that I knew for sure he was into me, too. We drank wine, laughed, and I jokingly told him I was going to make him sing karaoke with me that night.
Fast forward to the wedding day. I'm not feeling too hot, red wine doesn't seem to like me much the day after. All of the bridesmaids are busy getting ready, helping the bride get dolled up, crying and drinking mimosas, and putting the finishing touches on the floral arrangements. I volunteered to help with the flowers, but only because I knew he was helping, too. I mentioned how I didn't feel good and asked if he and the Maid of Honor's boyfriend could bring me a Sprite I had at our condo, they had to go pick something up from our place. Less than 5 minutes later they're back with a snack and two bottles of Sprite from the store for me. He didn't want me to have to wait until they went to the condo and back. I know it sounds silly, how impressive is a Sprite? But this was just a glimpse into how caring he is, and how he will do anything in his power to take care of those who he loves. Little did I know, that Sprite was the first of many times he would be taking care of me.
He couldn't stop staring at me during the ceremony. He saved me a seat at the reception. He held my purse while we took pictures. We danced-- I got the boy who says he's never danced before out on the floor, spinning me around until the stars came out. Like something out of a fairy tale, I was the bridesmaid who fell in love at her old roommate's wedding, and never wanted to catch the bouquet more than I did that night. Even though I didn't catch the bouquet, I went home after that weekend, after that night we had our first kiss, knowing that I was going to marry that handsome Coast Guardsman.
So cheers to June, 10th 2018, and thank you to those lucky stars for shining bright on that weekend that I met THE boy. Cheers to you, Peter, and to our forever!

I was in the military (USAF) stationed in Germany and my now wife was also in the USAF stationed in San Antonio, TX.
We did not know each other. We were both deployed to Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm "The Gulf War" and we met for the first time in Saudi Arabia on her birthday, the day the war started on Jan 17th under the incredibly bright stars of Saudi Arabia.
God blessed me with her that day. We were stationed together at a forward operating base near the Iraq border. We became close friends and when I got back to Germany and she returned to San Antonio, TX we began communicating more and more and eventually began a relationship and then married.
We now have two grown children and live in Austin, TX. Tomorrow, March 11th, is our 27th wedding anniversary and I plan to give this to her as a gift. She is my queen and deserves the very best I can give her every day of the year.

The star chart represents when me and my now fiancée first started talking back on 25th July, 2016 at 8:16pm.
It was when the pokemon go craze was first taking off. My son had started to play it and I had joined an online group to learn more about the game to help him better. My fiancée had messaged me offering help and advice and what started as a trivial conversation turned into us talking more and more each day.
Fast forward to almost 3 years together and I wouldn't change a thing between us. We both work together on everything. We've had ups and downs like any other couple but we always work together to sort things out. It may take me some time because I can be a stubborn sob at times but our love for each other is stronger than anything that life will ever throw at us and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her.
